Minnesota State University, Mankato, will have Honored Guest, Mark Feldstein, Speak at Media Day

MANKATO, Minn.- Mark Feldstein, former investigative correspondent for CNN and ABC, will be this year’s guest speaker for the annual Media Day celebration at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Feldstein’s speech is called, “Poisoning the Press: The Media and Washington’s Scandal Culture.” This address is based on his 2010 book, Poisoning the Press: Richard Nixon, Jack Anderson, and the Rise of Washington’s Scandal Culture, which won a national award.
Media Day is April 16 and will begin with a scholarship reception at 3 p.m. in CSU 253-5. Feldstein will address members of the Society of Professional Journalists and others interested in a career in journalism in the same room from 4-5 p.m. The speech will conclude the event, starting at 7 p.m. in the Ostrander Auditorium.
All aspects of Media Day are free to those participating. This was all made possible by a grant from the Nadine B. Andreas Foundation.
Feldstein is the Richard Eaton Broadcast Journalism Professor at the University of Maryland.
